Lol, so, what the hell, I just got a message from Sonia saying that she won two tickets to the Unholy Alliance (Slayer, Trivium, Mastodon & co.) in Helsinki this Thursday and she asked me to go with her.

Well, I said yes, but that's going to be interesting especially because I really don't like any of the bands there... :D I need to start checking out the bands really quickly so I won't be totally confused about what's going on.

I never imagined that I'd be going to a Slayer gig, oh man.

So, Thursday it is then. I already know three people who are going to be fucking jealous...

Good she found someone to go with" she called me, but since I'm on sick-leave and in pain I said no, but that I would think about it if she couldn't find someone :)

hope you have fun! Trivium didn't sound too bad (checked them out) and the opening band might be a local one from here with a few dudes I know (there's a competition going on). They're called 11th elimination, just incase they happen to win ;D

I don't like any of the bands, but I guess you have to see some BIG SHOT band once in your life ;) And the opening one is a band called Embreach, they won the competition afaik. :)

I could've gone as well but I missed the show because I went to Helsinki that evening :(
Trivium pretty much suck (I'm not into this metalcore stuff) but Amon Amarth are awesome :)
A friend of mine is working for them, so if you see some German-looking guy.. ;)

Have fun, even though you don't like Slayer that much :)

no dont check anything... let the band surprise you... i went to my very first 30stm show without knowing at least one song... the guys convinced me during the show...

I know them all but I haven't really listened to any of them. The songs I've heard from all of them I haven't liked at all, but I'll see, I'm going to check them out and then rethink about them.
